Grand Seiko

For over 50 years, Grand Seiko has been a story of dedication, perfecting the deceptively simple idea of creating the ideal watch. Even with the changing technology, the spirit of the brand has remained the same. The very first Grand Seiko model was produced in Suwa Seikosha (current Seiko Epson) in central Japan. Since the release of this watch in 1960, it has continued to evolve and include additional complications like calendar functions. In 1967, the 44GS was released, being the first model to embody the exterior design concept of the “Grand Seiko Style,” which is still seen today. Throughthe years that followed, the luxury brand has released watches formwomen, designed to be very precise and even featured both quartz and automatic movements. In 2002, for the first time in Grand Seiko history, the watch featured a fourth hand GMT function. Then in 2007, the first Spring Drive Chronograph was released featuring an accurate chronograph driven by a main spring. Still today, the brand continues to produce superbly accurate watches while maintaining the same spirit behind the original model.

Nomos Glashutte

IWC

The heritage of IWC is deeply rooted in American pioneering spirit and entrepreneurship. Florentine Ariosto Jones, a watchmaker from Boston, founds the International Watch Company in 1868. He draws on the help of eminently qualified Swiss watchmakers, modern technology, and hydropower sourced from the nearby River Rhine to manufacture pocket watch movements of the highest possible quality. The Rauschenbachs, an industrialist family from Schaffhausen, take over the company following Jones’ return to the United States. During its early years, IWC produces pocket watches with a digital “Pallweber” display, as well as wristwatches for women and men.

Tissot

It goes without saying that the Swiss Made label is one of our core values alongside tradition, precision and innovation. So it is not surprising that Tissot gladly supports and promotes projects that share its values. Tissot has been involved in Swiss Alpine tourism and Switzerland’s mountain scenery for many years through various partnerships. It partners the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC), with whom it shares an allegiance to tradition, as well as the ever-innovative Jungfrau railways. Tissot itself boosted this pursuit of innovation by supporting the First Cliff Walk by Tissot, in Grindelwald. The brand has an equally innovative presence on Glacier 3000, where Tissot has put its name to the world’s first suspension bridge linking two summits: Peak Walk by Tissot.

LumiNox

This ease of being able to read time effortlessly seems to fill a need for various military and law enforcement groups. It is why the U.S. Navy SEALs Procurement officers came to us asking us to create dive watches for them for night missions. It is also why U.S. Air Force pilots flying the F-117 Nighthawk™ Stealth Jets asked the same of us. These are only two of many groups of “heroes” that truly understand and appreciate the inherent benefit of wearing a LumiNox timepiece.
